Loose Threads has found and fell in love with Sultana Maria Jewlery. We started carrying her jewelry two months ago and just needed to spread the good word on this talented artist!
Born and raised in South Jersey, Sultana Aschmin always had a love for abstraction and design. While attending Arcadia University, she feel in love with working in metal, primarily sterling silver. She graduated from Arcadia University in December 2008 with a BFA in Metals and Jewelry. Sultana creates bold abstract organic pieces out of sterling silver often incorporating other metals. She also creates eco-friendly charm and chain necklaces and earrings made with found objects. Sultana likes to use metal, vintage objects, nature, and abstract designs to create one of a kind pieces that really make a statement.
